Denver ruined the entire state. The influx of not just Californians, but also the liberal wealthy from the Midwest was a crushing blow to the “dusty old cowtown”.

It has also been a strong base for La Raza movement for 50 years.

ETA: Glenwood Springs is a damn cool area if you like the outdoors. So is Salida. At least they used to be.
