My Rep in Quebec was a Separatist. He wanted Quebec to secede. Quebec has nothing to brag about at all. I told him
"Here's what you do. Secede then declare war on the US. WE then come up and end the war in about two weeks. Next we rebuild you and occupy for about eight years before you start yelling about us and screaming in what ever you call this language of yours. "
We had a Straight A French Foreign exchange student in our house for a year. Concert pianist. Her practice better than most piano players. I gave her a translated Canadian French language instruction book for one of our products destined for Canada, Hydro Quebec ......she read it for a while and came back to me ....."I can't understand anything in this, It's not French."
"You are not going to school tomorrow, You are coming to work with me." The so called language experts were stunned to hear what she had to say and baffled over exactly what language Hydro Quebec had translated the Instruction Book to.
