I think we all know the answer.

Fun fact, the tarlet for the full house bitch got her own makeup line at Sephora last year.

Obviously due to her keen knowledge of chemistry gained through her academic pursuits.

Why would the students be expelled? Their parents are the ones who committed the crimes.

I would think the ones with the fraudulent SAT scores will be expelled.

One girl was recruited by the row team coach and she never even participated in that sport. How could the rising freshman not know something wasn't on the up-and-up.

One size does not fit all.

Not all students knew. Some people had test taken in their place by someone else.

Sometimes the students turned in their test and the answers were changed to give them the desired agreed on score. This allowed the parents in some cases to hid the fraud from their kids.

The kids will be fine. They already have lifetime sinecures and are most likely spoiled rotten and most assuredly dumb. They can come back but they have to come LEGALLY.

Regardless, they were admitted through falsified docs. They should be out.

What I am wondering is are the people at the colleges who took the bribes going to be arrested also?

I would think accepting a bribe would be as illegal as offering one but I could be wrong

So the kids should be allowed to attend a university they did not qualify to attend, or fraudulently qualified to attend because it's possible they didn't know the fraud was taking place?

You're part of the "everyone gets a trophy" generation aren't you?

This isn't how the real world works.

As someone that has worked in higher education for most of my career - I will answer.

Seriously, it is likely those students had no idea.

I regularly receive calls and emails from parents. One parent called our university's president because she wasn't expecting for her child to have to clean her room. Housekeeping had not come by the entire first week she was here.

Reminds of a story growing up. Eduardo, one of the kids in my neighborhood, was riding around town with his buddy on a Friday night. His buddy decided to stop at a store and rob it for alcohol and money to pay for some drugs. Eduardo's defense was that he didn't know about it.

He was sentenced to 10 years armed robbery.

a better metaphor would be that drug kingpins kids don't go to jail for spending their parents drug money.
