The Democrats would only come to the table if the Republicans would stop calling for "Repeal and Replace". It would have to be just an effort to address the deficiencies. But in no way are they gonna vote for anything that says ACA/Obamacare is overturned/repealed/eliminated.

From a political strategy standpoint, why would they? The GOP, amazingly, has positioned theselves to eat this shite sandwich. The DNC is going to sit back and watch them get voted out of Congress.

They passed it to fail to begin with. That has always been there path for ACA. When they say they want to improve it, all they mean is we need universal healthcare.

Frick the Dems and Frick the GOPe. McCain is dying and won't be hiding his liberal slant any longer, not that he wasn't exposed already. He is a despicable man.

No. They don't want it "fixed". They want it to fail. They want it to fail so badly as to damage the existing private insurance system thus leaving single payer as the only viable option.
The democrats want a government run single payer system.
Obamacare was simply a means to that end.
