I'll gladly make a suicide pact with her. If in 12 years the world is still here, she kills herself. If in 12 years the world has ended I'll kill myself

You would melt your face off like the nazi on Raiders of the lost ark, if Trump would have said anything resembling this. FACT

What most people don’t understand is that Democrats don’t want her to be the face of the party. This is the Bernie wing with a young mouthpiece spewing his policies. The problem for Democrats especially Presidential contenders is they might not have a choice but to embrace her policies. If you go against her then you ostracize 30% of the Dems voting block.

Granted, Bernie and Warren will be occupying this terrritory but if they get knocked out who picks up those voters?

The percentage of democrats identifying as liberal is the highest it's ever been and that's why someone like AOC going viral is possible right now.

In the 90s, hell even a decade ago, this woman would've been rightfully considered a fringe lunatic airhead that does not belong in Congress.

Between 60-80 million died in less than a decade timespan as part of WWII. It is, by far, the deadliest conflict in human history. So many died that we can only estimate the death toll. She has the audacity to compare the two? She needs to go visit the WWII Memorial and the Holocaust Museum in Washington.

I think there is a lot of animosity towards the rank and file Democrats. It’s much like the Tea Party in 2010 towards RINO’s. Eventually this is how we got Trump and it’s why the Democrats will eventually nominate someone like Bernie and win. This is going to become the norm in the Democratic Party because the socialists have the monopoly on (bad) ideas. It doesn’t matter how radical because the Overton Window is constantly sliding amongst progressives. Eventually it will all become mainstream thought.

Example 70% marginal income brackets on ordinary income over $12 million. AOC has already won on this policy debate in her party. Bernie couldn’t even do this 3 years ago.

AOC is savvy and I do have a place in my heart for political skill. She understands social media and how to get coverage on the ideas she cares about. That’s power. That’s why also why Trump is President.

It's why Pelosi simply won't cut a deal with Trump. She knows the new generation of firebrands will overthrow her.

At least the Tea Party agenda was grounded in reality and adherence to the Constitution. Open borders, free healthcare, and 70% tax rates to pay for it is not going to fly with the majority of Americans.

Great point... The wolves are at her door and Pelosi by moving further left is becoming an icon amongst even the progressives. It’s ironic but also telling of where we are in our politics.

I think the Tea Party movement was originally based on principle but was hijacked by people outside the grassroots. Tea Party no longer stood on principle of balancing budgets and sound fiscal policy. The second Rand was abandoned for Trump the Tea Party movement was over.
