“I have to give Jeff Landry kudos because he has sued Meta, deposed Fauci and now is completely vindicated by the Elon Twitter file drops. He is also most likely to win, Donald Trump Jr. endorsed and supports oil and gas. Just shooting from the hip here but I think he will win 2 terms back to back, and after his terms, is where I come in with a track record of political truth vindicated 2020. And also, I want to give a shout-out to Mr. Joe Knight and the Big Easy Conservative.

“I am pro Constitution, Bill of Rights, 1 & 2 A. There are only XX and XY chromosomes. The woke agenda infiltration does NOT have a home here in Louisiana. I support Trump, DeSantis, Clay Higgins, Jeff Landry, Matt Gaetz, Lauren Boebert, Danny McCormick, Alex Jones & MTG. I am here for a Pro-Human future! Louisiana should not require government permission to carry. Louisiana has more oil and gas than most nations, we need to explore, drill, produce and workover - NOT depend on OPEC or the UN!”

Xan John, Louisiana gubernatorial candidate

I am new to the state and I watched the debate hoping to hear from Xan. What is the story with him not being there?

Left that state a month ago. Now I have a bona fide republican governor. I'm crossing my fingers hoping y'all get what y'all deserve down there.

Xan is the obvious choice. During a fair and free election not sure how he’d lose, but it’s obviously not a fair election.

What leads you to believe this? The 0.2% (2,753 out of 1,383,290 votes) of the vote that he received in the 2022 Senate primary?

That's the Senate and against an overly popular incumbent.

You're right, it was an improvement over the 0.1% of the vote he got when he ran against Cassidy at this rate he'll be a US senator in no time.

If only around 2000 people voted for him to the US Senate how on earth could he convince around half a million to vote for him to become governor?

Of course all TD posters should support him. He posts here and represents our beliefs. But they will instead fall in line and vote in the establishment.

The problem with the internet is that people are so impressionably dumb, that they can't see overt sarcasm for the comedy gold that it is, and subsequently think that Xan John is viable, but for malevolent actors within an entire election system.

The establishment is voting for Landry, and according to the quote in the OP, Xan supports Landry.

So there is that.
