I'd like to file a class action lawsuit against Nora O'Donnell (she's the only national news anchor I know), CBS News, ABC News, NBC News, etc for failing their fiduciary duties as users of the public airways (over the air antenna) granted by the FCC to provide unbiased news coverage.

There's got to be something in the FCC regs that covers this. Don't they have to provide a certain amount of time for PSAs and the like?

I don’t think the fairness doctrine, I.e, covering topics with input from both sides has been in effect for some time now. It was only initially enacted because of the limited number of channels etc. It went away as news options for the consumer increased massively.

The equal-time rule still applies to political candidates and advertisements though.

Nope Obama did something that allows the Press to lie to you and not be held accountable.

They don’t have a fiduciary duty to the viewer

Yea and that. Even when it was in effect, I don’t believe the fairness doctrine instilled anything of the sort.

And now, every "news option" on television except for the heavily blacklisted and suppressed OANN, have all joined the same team and parrot the establishment narratives in unison.

I find it hilarious that the actual news reported by OAN is about as accurate as you'll find anywhere, yet the entire organization is generally dismissed with prejudice as "propaganda" and "right-wing extremism". Their opinion show hosts aren't even extremely biased. They're more "common sense" oriented than anything. Contributor Pearson Sharpe is definitely way out there, but Dan Ball is as solid of a conservative host as you'll find anywhere.

Journalists are allowed to lie.

We can’t punish people for making an honest mistake.

I find it sad. Journalists and the media did this though.

I honestly do too... But I just can't do anything but laugh at the absurd any more. Finding humor in things definitely keeps people from wanting to climb clock towers.

You don’t need some faggy arse lawyer to file anything.

You do it. This is America. Bootstrap it up, Patriot.
