I'm not really concerned with your profession, I'm concerned with your arguments. Given the circumstances, you think he should have taken the time to potentially compromise himself by struggling with her and wrestling her to the ground? Do you think that would have been wise given that he was involved in a melee?
You've stated unequivocally that it was a cowardly act. I think that there are too many assumptions needed for you to make such a statement. I think your statement was foolish, not based in reality, and based on an idealistic view of how men should treat women.

Bro, that is not political speech. That is the brown shirts versus the communists in 1934. There is no desire to have a dialogue or to present opposing views in a peaceable manner. Everyone that showed up there wanted to fight. Some got more of it than they thought they would. And she absolutely would attack you while you are on the ground. I am not responsible for her actions, I am responsible for my own. Would not be a problem because I would not attend something like that. I want no part of either side.

Did you see the part where I called them idiots- the left almost entirely denounces them as counterproductive fricknuts, that's a major difference between the left and the right- the right tolerates and in some cases lionizes their moronic extremists the left marginalizes its nuts.

If his assessment was she was a woman (e.g less of a threat) he had a responsibility to act accordingly (proportionally).
If he knew she was a woman and hit her like he did he is a COWARD.
