The Pope led the Crusades too.
Pope Urban II was the head of the Catholic Church who initiated the First Crusade in 1095. Why are we humans so eager to wholeheartedly believe every bit of partial, “breaking” news before off of the information is in? Especially when it’s coming from people who a) don’t believe in truth, b) have a long documented history of using misinformation or outright lies to push their agenda, and c) are completely on the record about using these tactics to fight asymmetrical warfare style?
