We are also celebrating being the #1 exporter of oil, it’s ludicrous.
What would you rather do with the oil our refineries at home don't want?

anyone celebrating this is delusional and dogmatic, completely gaslit by the shared neoliberal DNA of the current left and right politburo.
the stated target is 2%. we haven't sniffed that in over half a decade. REPORTED inflation is 3.5%, that is 75% over. F grade. doesn't matter who is in the white house or who pulls the treasury levers. Fs all day every day.
every admin since 2009 has increasingly employed a policy of inflation to solve for their abuse of excessive spending. we are 6 years into the cracked out cocaine version of that.
if one wants to usher in socialist and communist ideals, debasing the currency and disincentivizing work while the 1% get richer and richer is a tried and true way to do it.
wake up folks.
