Joe was the one who really bit the White House staffer. They blamed Major as a coverup.

Do civilized people lead police on a car chase?

I'm civilized. I need to know if I should floor it when I see blue lights.

Sure. So at any point after that incident, the police can shoot him?

Maybe after the driver runs into a minivan and kills a family?

So we can makenup excuses to run from cops, and we won't get in trouble.

No. And civilized people don’t maul criminals who have surrendered, not even to satiate their anger at injustice.

I guess it's possible to:
a) not give a rat's arse that he was mauled
b) care a lot that the cop abused his power

Because that's where I fall on this.

The state police should’ve shot the dog when it charged at them. They would’ve shot my dog if it charged at them.

Agreed.

A cop who will do that to someone who has surrendered is two steps away from doing it to someone who might be innocent.

So interesting on how and when they choose to use peoples' race in stories...

We all know we would've never heard this story if the dude was White.
