Captain Steve has some great breakdowns regarding all aspects of piloting and flying.

Your last two answers show that you have conceded the argument, so fine.

You have a strange definition for "conceded".

It's more like you have been shown to be wrong over the past two days and yet continue to argue. It becomes pointless to discuss this with you.

I follow him on TT and really enjoy his videos. I am a nervous flyer (I know it’s not rational) and he and other aviation accounts actually make me feel more comfortable.

Pretty clear from the chatter that was not on ATC. This guy does a great job explaining and knows his shite. But I still have a hard time accepting his theory that they were looking at the wrong plane. I just don’t understand how it’s conceivable that they never saw a plane right in front of them that was all lit up for landing.

Short-staffed air traffic controllers yet they turned down 1,000 applicants based on race which is unconstitutional. WOKENESS kills people.

Again. They were told to proceed behind the CJR.

Tell me how they are going to go behind the second plane, that the guy in the vid claims they were looking at, if they proceed to drill the plane in front of it?

This isn't hard...

When the ATC told him to go behind the CJR, what was his response? It wasn't OK, instead he said this-

"PAT25 has the aircraft insight. Request visual separation."

Basically he told ATC I see the plane and am requesting that I chose my flight path. He had no intention of going behind the plane, because the plane he was looking at was the 2nd one.

Almost certainly true. I’ve posted several times that at least half the crews would have done the same. Still, pilots are legally responsible for maintaining separation in VMC.

There is no fricking way the airliner was in the wrong. No way. I don’t give a shite about your citation.

The helo fricked the dog six ways to Sunday.

OMG, canyon, I’ve posted 19 times that the egregious error, and primary fault, was obviously the Helo’s.

A point cannot be proven any more certainly than I have proven this one. I’ve posted the law, which clearly states what I have maintained.

You have responded with laughing emojis and posts like the one I’ve quoted, that have no content at all.

Bucky, you are a clown.

When the pilots in AA saw the helo approaching, why didn’t they thrust out and run away from the helo?

The AA jet was near stall speed. I don’t see how the two pilots, with radar, couldn’t see this formulating and just go full thrust and pull up when the helo was 1/4 mile away and on track for collision.

I fly a lot of private hours and don’t see how the pilots didn’t react faster to get out of there.

Those landing lights would be like a locamotive headlight shining right at them. Once the investigators put this into a simulator and run it, I think the "other aircraft" theories will get debunked.

This. Watching the new CNN video I’m not sure how the helo pilot couldn’t see the landing lights

It wouldn't be the first time. Germanwings 9525, a suicidal pilot flies an Airbus into a mountain killing 150 people.

Happened in China in 2022, killing 132. Flight 5735.

The Chinese blamed Boeing, but every aviation expert said it was intentional. China is still "investigating."
