Man, that’s sadly the truth...I hate to be a downer but it still shows a good portion of the US is crazy or stupid at least where we are right now in this day and age. At least there are more good guys at the moment.

The Democracy Institute was one of the few polls that accurately predicted Brexit and a 2016 Trump victory.
At times when every other major poll had Clinton WAY ahead of Trump, they had Trump up 50 to 45 with a large number of undecided voters.
Not sure why anyone would downvote this. It is an actual fact that they were one of the few accurate polls in 2016.

Walter Mondale got about 41% of the popular vote against Reagan in 1984. Reagan in 1984 was probably the strongest presidential candidate in modern times. The crazy/stupid has always been and always will be strong in this country.
