Amnesty and voting rights for illegals should be an absolute non starter for repubs

Forget all the other ancillary stuff, the wall, visa lottery, chain migration and so on. That shite is of no concern for the Dems. They have set the trap for repubs to cave on some sort of amnesty and when that happens it’s game over for repubs. It will basically be the same result as the Reagan amnesty deal and repubs will lose control of atleast 5 states permanently just like they lost control of California. None of the other things regarding border security will ever happen if repubs cave.

The other thing you have to worry about is Lindsey Gramnesty. He was on tv last night strongly stating he wanted dreamers here, and he wanted them to be part of this country. This short sighted dumbass is willing to sell out his party and the citizens of this country because he has a hard on for giving illegals amnesty.

I agree . Only way to give dreamers voting rights would be If Trump got everything he wants for immigration plus voter ID law and money to improve military.

There can be no voting rights. Voting rights cements Dems in power permanently. Repubs can’t win the whitehouse or maintain control of either the house or the senate if you turn 4 or 5 states permanently blue through amnesty. California is the model. Repubs controlled that state for 40+ years until Reagan signed off on amnesty. Repubs haven’t won that state since George HW Bush was elected, and they will never win it again.

No they don't.
But if the dreamers got "amnesty" they could start the normal citizen process and eventually become voters.

A voter ID law would off set the dreamers voting . I could be wrong but I would expect that a lot of the dreamers would be in democrats states anyway . I don’t see democrats agreeing to a deal where dreamers can’t vote . That’s the only reason they are making this fight .
