This is an idiotic statement. Israel certainly tries to avoid civilian casualties, but how can you truly avoid them when Hamas uses schools and hospitals for operational bases and hiding places?

I would agree with you if history started on Oct 7. Perhaps you're just unaware of all the attacks Israel has initiated on Palestine over the past few decades.
Hamas sucks. Israel sucks. They both kill innocent civilians without regard. When Israel kills unarmed civilians, Israel supporters ignore it. When hamas kills innocent civilians, hamas supporters ignore it. There are no good people in this fight.
What she went through was terrible. But why do you not care about the Palestinian mother whose 12 year old unarmed son was killed by IDF snipers for fun? Where is the harrowing story of the Palestinian family who lost their home because Israel bulldozed it while using soldiers to prevent them from retrieving their possessions?
You question how people can support hamas without realizing you are just like them. You just support the other side. You use the atrocities of the enemy to justify the atrocities of your own side. After reading details about both sides, I don't see how anyone can think their group is the righteous one.
As an American, both sides hate you. It's embarrassing watching conservatives simp for a country that controls AIPAC and the ADL.
