IB why do you insist IP theft only occurs in china

I don't insist that. I acknowledge the FACTS. Why do you keep arguing about it??

Every country has it's own IP laws.

There are ongoing FBI investigations because we have strong IP laws. We have mechanisms to fight IP theft.

US multinational companies want these same protections in China. I don't care.

Why should I have to pay tariffs because the Trinidadtiger Chewing Gum company does not have trademark protection in China? or because the company decided to invest in China, took on Chinese partners and the partners learned some manufacturing process as a result?

The Trinidatiger Chewing Gum company made the decision to attempt to do business in China. I didn't make them.

Are you ever going to answer the question of how much more we are paying for each product specifically

What question? Products of which harmonic code?

You are full of s***. Have you even looked at the harmonic codes presently subject to the tariffs and the proposed expansion list?

Yea guys, Vietnam is going to steal all our IP now. Just give up and let China do it, guys!

Something is certainly laughable, but not what you think it is.

I don't want to pay more so those people will get those things in China but most here obviously do.

Well so far
Trump’s economy has resulted in a higher income for my family.
Trump’s tax cuts have allowed me to keep more of my hard earned money.
Therefore, pardon me if I don’t mind paying a nickel more for a fellow tax paying American to grow my winter tomatoes! I will keep riding the Trump horse to victory!

Does it matter to you? If I give you a list what would you say? Would you just spout off more crap or acknowledge the facts?

Find me a single product with a significant amount of steel in it that does not cost more than it did 2 years ago.

Do you have the harmonic code of a particular family of products you want data on?

Trump was right to support the tax cuts and they are the primary reason our economy continues to grow at the pace it is growing.

Multiple the extra you are paying for goods and services because of tariffs by the total households in America and you will see that the number that impacts discretionary spending. Spending that is key to our standard of living improving and keeping the economy growing.

The Chinese tariffs have impacted primarily manufacturing inputs thus far but their impacts will be much more apparent to you if and when the expanded list of products is tariffed. Those codes include a lot of finished goods.

Probably Mardi Gras beads and Nike shoes.

Can't do anything about the Mardi Gras beads but we can buy $200 U.S. New Balance shoes to replace $300 China Nike Shoes.

You don't know do you? You don't understand what a harmonic code is do you?

Why given all your attacks on me should I answer any question for you?

Here is what you need to ask an intelligent question about this and the answer is any product coming from China that contains these product include 25% more cost for these ingredients than they did before the tariffs.

Present list of products subjec to Chinese tariffs

Here is the expanded list that will see tariffs if Trump expands it of 25% that have no 301 tariffs today.

LINK

You should note that the expanded list has a lot of finished goods on it like 6105.10.00.
