The bigger news is what happened in the Virginia House of Delegates.

The new thing in virginia was the negative gop ads about black gangs did not depress turnout in the east of state which is majority dem.
The whole state had good turn out.
The difference was that gop won over 45 by good but not whopping margin but under 45 was 2/3rds dem.
