Here’s your logic in another example:

You are standing on a train track, spaced the frick out the way you go through most of the day. A speeding train is barreling down on you. At the last possible moment a good samaritan notices that you are in fact retarded, and pushes you out of the way of the train before it takes you out. You would 100% jump up and get in his face for laying a hand on you: “what the frick bro! You changed nothing! I was alive before and I’m still alive now! Argh.” I know that sounds ridiculous but that’s truly how dumb you are.
