You're confused.
People who may be happy (I'm one) that McCain is gone are not happy that the man is gone, but the political influence that he had is gone.

The nation is so screwed up at this point as far as politics. All I will say is that there is one less person who says they're on my side but is actively working with a group of people who want me and mine wiped from the face of the planet. I take no joy in one death. I'll celebrate when progressives have no power at all.
