Dershowitz cares deeply about the law and feels be damned.

Dershowitz is one if the great jurists of the last fifty years. He's generally a liberal, but on many things (like the Trump stuff) he just looks at the law and tells it like it is. He doesn't seem to inject his views on the law and legal issues with his own partisan politics, which is very refreshing.

He went on to say that one piece of evidence they 100% knew was planted. They knew it because OJ told them his socks weren't left there. They did further testing on the socks and found that the blood on them could not have been acquired naturally because it was soaked from one side to the other and if a leg had been inside it would have been a different pattern.
