If it involves infringing on civil rights like drug testing I'm not for it.
So being on drugs and food stamps is a civil right?

Imagine how far that would drop if we instituted a drug test requirement as well.
How is this not already in place? Seems like it would almost go hand-in-hand

All humans take advantage of situation s when they can. Rich ppl get great cpa's in order to skimp out on taxes (stealing?), poor ppl mooch off the state.
Jesus what a terrible example.

Cost.
If it costs more to test everyone than it saves by those that are removed from the system, is it worth it?
I'm not saying yes or no, but from a purely fiscal approach, it's not nearly as cut-and-dry.

Kicking loafers off of food stamps and protecting our monuments. The "Heart of Dixie" is getting it done.

Not that I'm defending either, but In one example, the person is doing things to keep his own money. In the other, they are scamming to take others. Apples and oranges.
If they aren't paying their fair share then that money is coming from someone else.

It's an example of ppl taking advantage of the system. You think it's a bad example because maybe you think it's ok for ppl to take advantage of one and not the other.
