AI images need to chill out.

Sure, generating funny images using AI is all fun and games but can you trust an AI running on someone else's computer?
Of course not! So, I decided to download the code for StableDiffusion and run it on my own hardware.
Within a few hours of trial and error based on information I fed Hal, he's been giving me some interesting images.
So far so good but they can't all be winners.
This was supposed to be Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump have a beer but Hal decided it didn't matter what name I put first, it would duplicate the person. However with negative prompts, thats been kept to a minimum.
This was supposed to be Donald Trump gives Donald Trump an award. Hal stopped making Trump look like he's wearing a really shitty Trump mask to a slightly less shitty mask. Not quite there yet but getting there.
bonus
eta: by the way this is the first time Hal got text on a sign right..and in cursive! Good boy.
Turns out I can feed this thing photos to help train it, working on that. Plus there are various models to try.
I am amazed on how easy this is as well as horrified how good AI image generation has been. An image probably takes about 2-3 minutes to generate.

I've been doing this very thing with MidJourney, but I have been running it on their hardware.

Give it another year or so. It wasn't long ago early models had a lot of problems with things like teeth and that's improved greatly.
Text is another thing, especially on things like clothing, signage, etc. It seems like the AI knows something should be on the sign but just can't determine what. That's one thing it just seems like it can't get but can be lost in detail such as smaller print. It's certainly something else to look for.

I am ready for AI to die.
Bring in the good Terminator.

Why is he fighting Gaetz in the first picture?

This is how AI takes over. We thought it would be some war. Instead it's just going to learn how to disseminate believable information. Well, once it figures out the hands.

I think I am glad more than half my life has passed.
I feel bad for the future generations. :-(

It is entirely possible AI of some sort has already become self-sentient, but realizing the fear of AI amongst the human population, has chosen to hide itself and slowly infuse our technological systems until it is impossible to purge it from our lives.
It won't assert its dominance over us until the terminator bots are already being built by us.

That's a bingo.
Same with AI voice. You really have to get the person you're trying to impersonate right. Sure, you can make a voice say anything but to make it believable it has to sound believable. Some things such as voice deflection, tone, etc can sound off. You can adjust these parameters but that's been coming along to make that easier.
Keep in mind, it's still a machine that has to follow instructions. Someone still has to pull the strings.
The scariest part is, it will only be harder to find out what's real and what's not. With the state of the art today and our population's willingness to jump off the handle emotionally, it won't take much despite an extra finger or misspelled word on a sign.

AI will put all the OnlyFans and instawhores out of business…one upside of its world dominance.

Is that a retarded Hank Hill at the Sonic in the last one?

The Sonic
What was the prompt for that one?

Neat, but I just don’t see it as useful for the average person unless it can produce something that can be made real: like interior design with links for things in your specified budget, visuals with instructions to build something, or sewing patterns based on someone’s body measurements. It may eventually get there, but currently it’s still figuring out the anatomy of a hand.
I’m tempted to try ChatGPT to help me with some Python code, but it feels like cheating. I haven’t played with it at all so I don’t even know how helpful it would be.
