Our stereotypes become self-fulfilling
Why do stereotypes exist? Could it be the conscious mind processing massive amounts of information such as knowing that an extremely small section of the population commits 60% of property crime and 40% of violent crime. Could factual information be shaping our stereotypes? Or is it just good old damn racism?

You do realize that you’re proving him correct, right?

Self-fulfilling? Because I factually perceive that someone is inherently more of a threat is proven true is a self fulfilling stereotype.
Why because of what I perceive and that they are more of a threat based on percentages which is backed up by statistical fact is why they turned out to be more of a threat.
Just because I correctly perceive someone to be a threat in no way causes them to become a threat which would be a self-fulfilling stereotype.
Just because I perceived someone to be more of a threat doesn't change my interaction with them unless they actually turn out to be a threat.
