Maybe. Far more people can’t get past the obvious point that he’s not a contributor to society. He’s a jobless criminal in his late 20s. Society won’t miss him. That doesn’t mean his death is a good thing or that McMichael’s actions are acceptable.

It does mean the attempts to canonize Arbery are stupid. He was likely looking to do something criminal and that’s part of the reason he ran.

Anytime a criminal dies it's a good thing.

No. It’s not. That’s a short-sighted view. You are sentenced to read the parable of unforgiving servant, Matthew 18:21-35.

Keep that in mind the next time you're driving over the speed limit.

I can tell you have never had a criminal commit a crime against a close family member.

Again, a dead criminal is a good thing.

You display short-sightedness in many of your posts. This thread is not an exception.

I get your sentiment but in this case they didn’t have a right to chase him and ultimately kill him.

Dude was likely a bad guy and maybe a criminal but he didn’t deserve to die that way.

He wasn’t out jogging either way. That’s a ridiculous thing for progs to say.

No. I’m just not in favor of executing people for alleged theft (not even theft). You apparently are.

Do you think the people that killed him were right to do that?

No, but they did a big favor for society.

Look at it as three pieces of trash are out of, or are going to be out of society.

They should have just given him a permanent limp and for the rest of his life people would see him limping around and they would know why he's limping.

He is hoping criminals target your family next.

I think his family was affected by some sort of criminal activity.

Hopefully he’s just lashing out.
