His primary job is to placate people pissed off about this by saying the right things and likely a damning report. And if we are lucky stringing up a few low level players. I will be stunned if he actually goes after the big fish as well but Barr is 100% swamp.
a damning report and even one indictment is better than nothing. it will at least get people's attention.

You just described Trump. Re-elect him and see what happens.

Dallas, I can't go there with you, certainly not a guarantee. Do you even have a specific federal crime(s) in mind that each could and should be indicted for? Let's start there. And I'm not asking while I have a particular one or ones in mind, I'm genuinely curious about thoughts on it.

I had Levin DVRed and watched this interview. Barr is very intelligent and gets it all. He had no problem calling out the left wing taking over the country for power with the media.

He also said he was RECLAIMING MY TIMED by the dems because they were trying to stop him from telling the truth about their games.

He was very clear that a high bar has to be met for criminal prosecution and a grand jury has to find people guilty.

Also why was this not ever discussed here?

To follow your analogy, yes, it’s a cancer, but it’s more like leukemia than a tumor. It’s in the bloodstream. It’s not so easy to remove without killing the patient.

And the patient has been strapped to the table in DC that needs flipped over.

Armed insurrection? Open civil war? Blood of tyrants for the roots of the tree of liberty and all that?

Well, maybe it’s time. But even then, be careful what you wish for. Be very careful.

It’s not just the if and the when that matter, it’s very much about the HOW. Because the chances that it will look like 5th Century Rome or Paris in 1794 or Moscow in 1917 is greater than Philadelphia in 1776.

The AG doesn’t initiate the actual lawsuits. That’s not in his scope. Apparently, there are lower level attorneys whose job that is. Barr said as much in that interview. His job is to see that suits and investigations are followed through with.

I really enjoyed the interview. I wish it was longer. Barr will protect his institutions but he sure told it like it was.
