Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't one lady use the phrase police violence against black people and the first person she mentioned was Trayvon Martin? Wasn't he killed by someone who was NOT a police officer?

Zimmerman was nothing more than a HOA watchdog that was patrolling the gated community.

This is not altogether accurate and just to set the record straight because what you stated has been the common narrative.
Zimmerman was not on patrol. He was simply going to the grocery store and saw what he thought was someone ducking between houses and looking in the windows. There had been a lot of break ins in the the housing complex and saw what he thought was housing complex including a woman held at gunpoint. He was not on patrol and he did not follow Trayvon as the common narrative has stated. There is or was an excellent investigative documentary about it on Youtube a while back if you want to know more.
