Even a rookie sniper would know you NEVER set up a hide where your barrel would be visible out of a window.
He would set up back in the room, preferably in a darkened area so no light refracts off of his scope. The report from a suppressed round would be lessened being in the room vs hanging out of a window. Not to mention even when suppressed, the first round out of the gun is louder than the succeeding rounds since the suppressor is void of spent gases before the first shot (usually referred to as FRP - first round
pop)

The audio analysis is extremely damning as evidence of the second shooter scenario…..IMHO


As for the water tower I’m not buying it

-Figure is standing and can’t effectively use the tower itself to steady the shot, even if he’s left-handed.

-They can’tpolice up spent shell casings that probably fell to ground

-No quick escape plan, especially considering nowhere to hide the sniper
rifle

-shot angles way different from shooter kid. Too easy to prove in an investigation. Etc.
