I don’t know, man. You really seem to have a vested interest in the OP, so much so that you’re willing to sacrifice your integrity when its factual inaccuracy was pointed out to you. That’s saying something.

Should not have dumped on side of road - someone could use them to impersonate an officer.

No one in NYC is going to be taking the risk of being seen as a police officer.

You assured me it was found 2 days ago. Go fire up the Mystery Machine, there's a case that needs solving.

I was just told in no uncertain terms it was from 2 days ago. Is this not the case or is this the "grift"?

I quickly looked into it and found an Instagram post from over 24 hours ago. I don't know exactly when the boxes were discovered...but they were defintely found BEFORE Mamdani was sworn in.

Cheers:)

The council won't keep him in check. They just passed the bullshite NGO "right of first refusal" regarding sale of multifamily properties.

Hochul and the Assembly will be the last line and her desire to stay in office will temper her involvement.

You assured me that they were found after Mamdani was sworn in. When someone (i.e., me) took the initiative to research the OP and discovered that your assertion was incorrect, you prevaricated and obfuscated and said that facts didn’t matter because the “truthiness” of the OP is all that mattered.

I just consider that to be odd and not very intelligent. A substantive discussion of Mamdani’s policies and reactions among the NYPD is of course needed and interesting, but it’s boring with too many details to someone like you. You prefer the rage bait. I get it. I’m just calling it out.

NYC will be fine. Nothing he alone can do will destroy the Big Apple. It accounts for a significant portion of the country’s GDP, and there’s too much at stake, as well as a built-in base of national support…

It is also a resilient city with incredible breadth and depth of talent and resources.

In a couple of years it will look far worse than the shithole it had turned into back in the 1970's.
You are delusional if you think any of that muslim Marxist's policies will do anything positive.

It would help if you just said how he significantly impacted the history of a 400 year old city.

Well, there's Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan.

Then you got Trump International around the corner

Trump Park Avenue

Trump World Tower

Trump Parc

Trump Parc East

Trump Place on Riverside

Trump Palace in the Upper East Side

etc., etc. That's just residential buildings in Manhattan, no hotels, golf courses or stuff in other parts of New York, Connecticut or New Jersey. He's been a NYC builder for decades, just like his father. The man has literally helped shape the skyline of the city. How many iconic NYC homes does the guy need to build before you see the imprint on the city?

You mean, just like the OP, you’d read the words, but certainly wouldn’t comprehend anything more than what gives you a visceral reaction. You certainly wouldn’t consider, research, and form a thoughtful opinion. Again, just like you did with the OP.
