Yeah, that's pretty damn lame. I won't ever live in a city again.

I mean, who really gives af? This seams like a peace offering to dems to get some more important bill passed. Bump stocks are pretty much a novelty item anyways.

Trump is responsible for more gun control than obama.

there are idiots who will swear he’s a conservative.

Oh and he’s spending more than obama. Oh and we have a larger trade deficit (not a big deal) oh and our national debt is rapidly growing.

Most conservative President ever!!

You really don't see an issue with that?

Nah. Life is all about compromises. You can’t have it your way all the time without conceding a few things along the way. This seems like throwing back a small fish to catch a bigger, sexier fish.

No, it isn't. Compromises are something we create to feel better about giving something up. There is no reason to compromise on the Second Amendment, and people like you are the reason we have lost so much ground.

I'm sure you're a "big Second Amendment guy," though.

Has ANY kneejerk legislation after a tragedy ever been good? Like ever?

Being in a rush and while you're emotional, what a great recipe for decision making.

I own a lot of guns, but accessories aren't guns. I fail to see how this harms anybody. I really get sick of the "all regulation is bad" when it comes to guns shite. I mean, yeah. Let me walk in to Walmart and buy an automatic rifle and an RPG..

You aren't terribly bright kid. From the current ruling in Duncan v. Becerra that came out today:

quote:

It is a hardware test. Is the firearm hardware commonly owned? Is the hardware commonly owned by law-abiding citizens? Is the hardware owned by those citizens for lawful purposes? If the answers are “yes,” the test is over. The hardware is protected.

In this case the hardware in question are ammunition magazines than can hold more than 10 rounds. The judge unequivocally makes the case that "arms" in the the 2nd Amendment (backed up by Heller and Caetano) is not limited to the actual firearm itself. "Arms" can mean accessory items and since the ATF earlier authored a letter that defined bumpstocks as an item that can be protected under the PLCAA (which was used to throw out a lawsuit against the bumpstock manufacturer last year), this ban will likely not survive the pending court challenges. Your "but accessories are guns" argument is a very ignorant one and typical of the Fudd mentality that harms gun ownership in general. People like you may as well go suck off the Brady organization for all you are worth.

Then you'd likely support limitations on magazine capacity, flash hiders, grips, and all the other garbage.

Owning a few guns doesn't mean anything.

Then you're worse than the Democrats who want to take them all.

I'd rather have an AT4, but sure. Why not?
