CIGNA is raising base pay to $16 an hour, increasing 401(k) match by 1%, adding millions of dollars to bonus incentives, and hiring more employees.

I feel for anyone who works as a grunt level employee at Cigna. That may be money well earned.

Anyone know how major medical plans will work for 2019?
Assuming there is no official healthcare reform but the mandate is repealed.
Does that mean Cigna, BCBS, etc can start offering plans to groups and individuals that are not Obamacare compliant and therefore cheaper for the consumer and more profitable for the company?
If so, then this would be a great time to invest in health insurance providers.

Cigna is trying to pay providers less than Medicare reimbursement. If that happens look for lots of providers to drop Cigna patients. Don't know that I would spend too much on that stock right now.

Yes. Their Healthspring Medicare supplemental is shite. Glad for the employees but working with these people to try to improve patient care is like shoving needles up the ol' peehole.

My Cigna shares have increased in value by about 30% over the last 3 years. I would recommend you buy.
