It's worth mentioning that here on the Imperial Democratic Republic of tiger droppings, I have to qualify all of my opinions of wanting to see certain people hung under appropriate legal language that indicates the hopefully departed have been charged, tried, convicted and summarily sentenced under United States Code appropriate for their misdeeds.
When I didn't do that I got banned for several months, so thanks to some overzealous admin who is more chickenshit than chicken salad, y'all get the legalese version.

I want to point out that I’m not criticizing you for that. It’s harmless internet stuff. I’m being critical of the assertion that the left is inherently evil when they do much the same thing.

I would underscore the difference between the motivations of each side.
There is an entire universe between:
"We see these people selling out our country and if our rule of law is to be upheld, the guilty must be held accountable"
and
"Donald Trump is the absolute worse because ... reasons, and we don't care how they take him down so long as he's gone for good'

Where does, “All liberals are evil and need to be eliminated” rank in there?
Of course there is a big difference between those two positions. You picked a moderate and reasonable statement from our side and compared it to a ridiculous statement from the other side.
A left wingnut might have said, “There is a big difference between, ‘We need to protect our democracy from those who would use force to negate it’, and ‘All democrats are pieces of shite who should be eliminated.’”
