Mr. Edwards ran J&J Cafeteria right on 4th Avenue in town. It's been in Conway for years and years. I live a couple blocks from there and would eat breakfast there on occasion. The black guy worked there most of my life, but I guess all of the cruelty and forced labor began when Edwards started running it, which would have been about 10 years ago.
