As much as I dislike Fox news, the problem is one of slant and the constant blending of editorial and informational content well after stories have broken
If Fox news says there's an active shooter, it's because they got reports about it. They're not making it up for fun. This isn't one of their edgy little captions, this is actual people responding to information, confirming and passing it on.

So we have reached a point where every time someone brandishes a gun or hears a loud noise there is a nationwide alert for "active shooter"?
