About That Aspen Institute Conference...

The Aspen Institute conference is where Brennan and Clapper said we need a coup to overthrow Trump. While certainly news worthy, their interview was not the most interesting one of the conference. Mike Rogers (current NSA director) and Robert Hannigan (former GCHQ director) were there too and together gave an hour long interview. (No, Wolf Blizter was not the guy interviewing them).
What's interesting is the moderator asked Hannigan about Judge Nap's assertion that GCHQ spied on Trump. Hannigan laughed and called Nap a "conspiracy theorist" and said the whole story was BS. He blamed Russia for creating the story and the "alt-right" in America for doing Russia's bidding. He said no serious journalist would dare report such utter nonsense.
Well, I have news for Mr. Hannigan. Either the Guardian (major UK newspaper) is owned by Russia and the alt-right or Mr. Hannigan is full of shite. The Guardian admitted that GCHQ was the spy agency to instigate this whole mess. And what's more: the Guardian said Hannigan himself met with Brennan to PERSONALLY hand Brennan info on Trump.
How can this guy get up there with a straight face and call Judge Nap a "conspiracy theorist" and Fox News "fake news" when his own British newspapers have reported that HE gave John Brennan dirt on Trump and that GCHQ was the spy agency to instigate the whole thing?
Also, it's interesting that Hannigan "retired" from GCHQ just 3 days after Trump took office. He gave no formal resignation and quit with only a 3 hour notice. He claims he needed to "spend more time with his wife." So, what happened? I'll tell you what happened: Trump told Theresa May that he is pissed off at GCHQ and Theresa May fired Hannigan to mollify Trump. This means Theresa May admitted privately to Trump that GCHQ fricked up (or else she wouldn't have fired him). "Spend more time with my family" my arse.

Napolitano claimed that GCHQ directly spied on Trump. That didn't happen.

It might be true that GCHQ was doing "routine" Russian surveillance and just so happened to catch Manafort on the phone with a Russian. However, it went far beyond that. The fact GCHQ went digging for dirt on Trump associates (and Trump himself, no doubt) is the entire reason people like Susan Rice started unmasking anyone and everyone associated with Trump (the same Susan Rice who now refuses to testify about the case).
So, yeah, I still maintain that Hannigan was being disingenuous in that interview. He made it sound as if GCHQ's involvement in any way was an outrageous conspiracy theory when we know for a FACT GCHQ is the agency that started this whole mess (even if they didn't set out to target Trump on purpose).

When Hennican retired, that should have triggered a scorched earth investigation of him. There is still time. He and Brennon and the crook that was head of the CIA all should be in prison for life, or executed, if the law is to be properly served.

You have spent months on here posting that Trump was never spied on by our IC, but his peeps were just caught up in our govt spying on foreigners. Which is legitimate for them to do
Guess what Trump is to GCHQ? A foreigner running for the highest office in our country. It's just as legitimate that they spied on him, as you have been arguing that we are well within our rights to do the same
