Let’s use this political moment to abolish the FCC. You’ll see droves of Dems come out in support of the FCC—in support of censorship. They’ll tie themselves into a pretzel.

The FCC simply has to get back to their original limited function of fair rules in broadcasting between stations. For example, with no rules on power a radio station could broadcast with so many watts of power that it's the only station you could get across the dial.

If someone is dumb enough to spend money on "the gazillion watt station", who's going to listen?
Who's going to care about broadcast radio after you die? I'm in my mid 50s and I hardly have the radio on.
My kids are in their 20s and have only heard broadcast radio in their parents vehicles. They would never listen on their own.
Network tv? They only watch it for sports.
