Then what? What is it going to matter to you?

1- the msm will nit cover it except as to say it was ok to do.

2- we know that today the dems that sae the abuse report refused to vote to allow all of congress to see the report, but it passed any way. So you know its damaging.

Because all members will see it, we will know ....

But in the end, what is it that you can do? If it was the left.... there would be a march of millions!

The cons.... we will go home, drink a few beers, bitch a little and then move on.

Is that about right??

Vote every Republican out of office who votes for these authoritarian surveillance bills. Seriously, there is nothing small government about living in a mass surveillance society where the concept of privacy is non-existent.

Because that has worked in tge past?

No.

What ends up is we dont vote. That removes them and leaves us with worse.

When will the cons learn to be vocal to say enough of the abuse TOWARDS CONS?

There are Rand Paul type candidates out there who are principled and not part of the D.C. swamp. These candidates get almost zero funding though and don't have name recognition, so it takes a lot more work getting into office. People on this site who are fed up with their establishment Republican candidates have to be willing to research harder, volunteer and go the extra mile to get in liberty-minded candidates who aren't beholden to the intelligence community, Saudi lobby or the Israel lobby.

Why is your thread directed at "Conservatives" when it was the Democratic Party led by Obama that aggressively used the apparatus of Der Staat to conduct surveillance on their political enemies for the purpose of securing political gains for the party favored by Der Staat?

This is the sort of thing that Totalitarian Regimes do, and, let me tell you, it won't be possible to fix. Just as soon as Dems have the chance to do so again, they will politicize and weaponize the apparatus of FedGov to persecute their political enemies.

You are not on the same topic.

1- we will do nothing but take it. Thays a fact. And that is why we are where we are. We voted... Trump is in.

2- we keep our voices other wise quiet. And that has not worked out at all.

You can say Paul paul paul rand rand rand... but the facts are in history.

The cons historically replace people by sitting at home. The perfect example is Alabama.

They stayed home to make a point. Now you have a social justice worker who wants to arm the DOJ to go after people that he disagrees with

No. I'm not a bitch nor am I one who bitches.

I have posted on here many times that there is no need to fret about the future of the nation-state USA because it has no future. It is finished and will be subjugated by a Global Government in 100 to 150 years. The US electorate has no control over this destiny.

I personally believe it is inevitable and an event that is part of the spiritual destiny of humankind.

I place no faith whatsoever in the USA's ability to save anything, not even itself, from World Government that will be very oppressive.

This is true. Just like we bombed Dresden and nuked Japan...it would have been irresponsible, impractical and borderline immoral NOT to employ those means.

The Dems see their Social Justice as a moral imperative, and you are spot on Champ..."they will..." if ever given the chance.

Once ALL the facts are out there, Trump must and likely will give a major speech, defining the abuse, the abusers, and potential failsafe policies that can prevent future corruption. But in the terror environment that we all daily live in, more surveillance (street cameras, dashboard cameras, citizen awareness, I-net/phone monitoring, etc.) will be necessary evil, lest we are willing to bear more hurt.

We can't do away with guns because bad people can use them too. We have to slam the bad people. Once Trump explains this in His Speech...it'll be time to slam the bad people - not for the cause of retributive justice - but to discourage future abuse of a very important too.

There is no easy fix. We need the Intel and Law Enforcement agencies of the USA FedGov for security against Jihadi Terror Attacks BUT we know that the Democratic Party will always utilize these agencies against their political enemies.

Even now Peter Sztrok works for the FBI. Now he's part of the agency that does the hiring! What kind of new agents would one suppose that Sztrok would favor?

unfortunately, you are correct

this is another reason that Trump is awesome; he fights back and throws this type of things back in his adversaries collective faces...

Once the evidence of the level of the abuse/corruption is documented and presented to the Public, Trump should tell any people who attempt to justify the use of this power, that He'll take that as an ok for Him to employ it against His political enemies.

Or if everybody agrees that we should get at implementing failsafe protocols to prevent ANYBODY from abusing these powers...then we can do our best to create satisfactory guards.

It's the Commies buddy...the will never go away. At least not until everybody is *equal*. They can have my share of that; think I'll opt for another 1950 Hillsdale, USA landing in the next one.
