Just was there last night for dinner and drinks.

Hard to describe maybe on a message board: The town was just like any other in that people were out partying and looking for some action. Reminded me of countless other American cities I have visited:

If nothing else, we have a shared tradition as an American people of drinking and trying to get laid. Made me feel like we at least all have something in common.

Probably surprised at how things are now compared to before Trump sent the guard in and put American safety first. Clearing out criminals has a way of making a city, albeit the nation’s capital, seem different when you don’t have to worry about being robbed.

As someone who has lived in DC during Trump years and non trump years, DC is better during Trump.

Feel how you want about the guy, but it’s objectively better with him around.

That started thousands of years before 1776.

TDS is real and a mind is a terrible thing to waste on TDS. Alas.....

Love him or hate him, where in the Hell would we be without PDJT right now? Who would be there and where would we be as a country?

we'd be a failed state by now had HRC won - no doubt about it.

DC today is objectively much, much better than it was 4 years ago. It feels safer than it has in probably a decade.

No armed robberies? Assaults? Car jackings?

Hm.
Maybe actual enforcement of the law does turn things around.

You have everything in common with most people, currently. Except a whole shite load of them, for some insane self destructive reason, want you to find anyone who doesn't share that same sentiment, and teleport them on top our heads and give them free shite
