I'm fine setting her free if it leads to prosecutions or at least the truth about a few other perpetrators, TBH. It's not like she's going to live some grand life at this point.
But yes, lots of things in this saga don't make sense. I'd put my confidence at there being some very compelling (in the eyes of a POTUS) IC related reason not to release materials at 80%.
When has Trump ever just sat back and taken it on the chin for months without hitting back in meaningful fashion? Never. Instead he's lashed out at his own people for not moving on, which is likely a sign of immense frustration at being in this spot.

Is she giving them info? Why was this the first time she had been formally interviewed? The Biden admin didn’t lift a finger with her to get info. Why is that? Inconvenient questions for the orange man bad crowd

You can read the transcripts of the interview Blanche conducted yourself. Its public. She didnt reveal anything particular of note other than basically denying Trump or Clinton or any other democrats were involved in inappropriate behavior.

That would be reasonable. If there was a ongoing investigation by the DoJ it seems like there would be some communication indicating that is the case. But there nothing indicating that is occurring. So it appears Maxwell is benefitting from essentially adding nothing to the investigation....at least so far
