Not a Biden fan to say the least, but the guy he was speaking with is a moron. Blaming white people for crack abuse by the black community is nonsense. I remember back in the 80’s when whites would go into black communities and force blacks to do crack. Said no one, ever.
And let’s not bring up our morbidly obese poor population, regardless of race but not specific to one race, which trumps the entire worlds %.
And what other country guarantees black people that if you have equal or close to equal skill levels in white collar fields, you are almost guaranteed employment over whites in the same field of expertise? College admittance? You guessed it.
The victim of circumstance games is played out in 2020. An ounce of personal responsibility and black people can attain as much as anyone else.

Right or wrong, most black people I know share that opinion, so I don’t think this gaffe really is going to resonate with much of the black community, mostly because Biden has considerable cache with a lot of them.
A few are going to make some noise over it, a few will write very fair critiques of it(Jamil Smith wrote one for Rolling Stone Friday), but this will largely be forgotten next week.
We’re he going up against someone other than Trump, it would maybe be bigger news. Neither are bastions if black civil rights.
