We subsidize the rest of the worlds cheap prescription drugs. The reason they can have price controls without shortages is because the costs are passed on to the Americans.
What are you talking about? We subsidized half our own population since they pay zero effective federal taxes after filing. In fact, about half of them actually make money on filing their taxes.

We’re also about 90% of the fat asses in the world.
Average black American woman weighs 182lbs. You must not prefer big black women? Racist, lol

My daughter get’s her medicine from Belgium. Tariffs are going to give them a reason to make it even higher. Without insurance it cost around $3,500 a month and with insurance is a little under $500. We get a coupon from the manufacturer and it saves us $5,000 a year, so we end up paying around $950 a year.
Hopefully it only changes the price by a few hundred a year. They don’t make the medication it the US only in Sweden and Belgium
A lot of medicine is made in Europe which helps make it cheaper there and more expensive here. A lot of the insulin is made Europe
Novo Nordis makes insulin in North Carolina and they are expanding a plant, but mainly for weight loss drugs.
