Link?!
By stock ownership, Does that mean individual stocks owned by individuals, excluding mutual funds, pension funds, etc...What index are we using? 54% of all dollars, or 54% of all shares? Includes penny stocks? Etc...
That means 3.5 million people. At what point do those who have less stop trying to get a bigger piece of those who have more, 47%?!

I feel like trickle down economics is the next bedrock of conservatism that MAGA throws in the dustbin.

I think the pivot towards socialism could be good for Republicans, even if it's completely hypocritical
The Democrat Establishment rejected Bernies socialist movement in 2016 and 2020. It cost them the white working class
Trump has that now. DNC has to be kicking themselves

Total market share, as you would consider it, dollars.

That's left wing socialism sir.
It always goes bad, just look at Europe.

Over 56% of American workers participated in 401k type plans last year. Pretending market crashes don’t matter is having blinders on. Crashing stock markets will bleed into real economy if it’s prolonged.

Because probably close to 100% of the US middle class owns US stocks and they depend on them for retirement.
Your stats are looking through the wrong end of the telescope.

Apparently it depends on what day it is.
