Did he say your thread "on" the coldest winter on record or "during" the coldest winter on record??? What a dumbass.....
Posted on 7/11/14 at 1:53 pm to fleaux
Why would I just up and start a thread about the winter of 1911-2? You and all the denialists already know - everything there is to know about everything - I figured you knew.

So again... That means we've cooled.

We should raise taxes to make sure nobody does something so careless

Spending tax dollars to stop a figment of your fricking imagination? That's a bad thing, imho.

Last I checked we are still riding a living rock around a ball of fire in a vacuum of space with unfathomable temperature extremes. Some shits gonna fluctuate.
My point has always been the arrogance of man to think we control it, can control it, or know the temp to set the dial to.
For now, you can keep your hands off my thermostat and find some other trumped up cause to become a freedom fighter over.

So basically you believe its arrogant to consider the possibility we might be influencing climate, thus relieving you of the obligation to actually inform yourself.
Interesting.

Your agenda is raising taxes, and shutting down use of fossil fuels, unfortunately including NatGas.

Free allocation cap & trade doesn't actually raise any taxes, nor does it shut down the use of fossil fuels.

How else are we gonna stop ManBearPig?

So pay extra money to pollute. How is that not raising taxes? It's just adding a shell game to the money. Big corporations benefit...you should love that tuba

The government, or some contracted third party, would have to buy the allowances on the market and charge it to the company.

No it isn't. The proceeds go to the seller in the market. That's like saying paying restitution for stealing a car is a "tax". For fricks sakes you're an idiot.

You aren't paying it to government. The money goes to other market participants.
Jesus fricking Christ you people are slow. I've basically been explaining the same things over and over and over and over again to you. For fricks sakes do you retain ANYTHING?
