re: 4 Top Legal Firms Do Not Want To Represent Trump

The amount of ignorance in this thread is astounding.
Yes, the administration was reaching out to top-notch DC lawyers for representation on the president's behalf related to the Russia investigation. The search started weeks ago.
Yes, I believe it highly likely that the six law firms listed in the Yahoo report were contacted. If you are the president and facing what Richie Rich is facing, these are the names (lawyers and law firms) that you would turn to.
No, not a SINGLE bad thing will come to the lawyers or their firms as a result of them turning the president down. NOTHING bad will happen to them or their reputations.
The reality in DC is this: aside from his immediate staff, who are clinging to their jobs, and others who hold appointed positions in the various agencies, NO ONE in DC fears Richie Rich. NO ONE.
Not a single Democrat and not a single Republican. NO ONE. The Republicans are trying to hold their tongues in public and not throw him away, but privately they are beyond livid.
Richie Rich has some good people in certain cabinet posts, but the good ones are frustrated and embarrassed by him and his behavior. Kelly and Mattis are likely to ride it out. Tillerson and Cohn, maybe not.
I voted for Richie Rich because I couldn't vote for his opponent, but he is fricking this whole presidency thing up in ways that are astounding. He is a daily shite show.
And each day (EVERY day) he continues to amaze at how immature, spoiled and arrogant he really is. And each day, down the drain goes any hope of him actually working in a constructive manner to help the Republicans advance healthcare and tax reform and an infrastructure bill.

You may be right. But it is an ethical violation for the lawyers to talk about it. Politicians might not care, but the disciplinary board would. This is a made up story. No lawyer made those comments. It is why it's an "unnamed source". Like always.
