Exactly when were the prototypes revealed? I thought it was after Trump was elected... So, if that is the case, how would anyone with half a brain base their expectations of a wall on a wall that did not exist at that time?

Your question moved the goalposts yet again on your pathetic argument...

Lol nice melt. Bollard Fence design was a prototype and keeps the massive sky screamers like yourself from crying over a concrete wall like you thought was being built

In fairness, the bollard fence design is reasonably-close to one of the eight prototypes.

Prototype

As-Built

me? im not so sure about that.

none of the prototypes are to be used in the current spending bill. looks like those 6 prototypes were just more of that big government waste that you trump conservatives are draining out of government.

regardless of this

it replaced existing barriers, but those barriers in many cases were nothing but chain link fencing or shite you could literally step right over

Cool. How much did it cost, and where should I reference that anyone with budget oversight approved this use of my tax dollars?

That wall is not going to be built. And to answer your question, considering how long that wall is proposed to be, two miles is less than an inch. No miles of wall, no inches of wall. No wall at all.

This

People need to wake up... If the wall was going to be built don’t you think it would have over the past 2 years when Republicans were in control of every branch? If the Republicans didn’t build it when controlling the House, Senate and White House then that muthafricker won’t ever be built. Moreover, I don’t think shutting down the government and blaming it on the Dems is going to work either.

No it doesn’t stand to reason.

I didn’t vote for a wall design... I voted to strengthen border security.

Your question was straight forward. Its just the reasoning behind it isn’t worth the 8 kb of data its taking up on the internet.

but in the case you suggest here, not a bit more of the border would be blocked off than before. if you want to call that "new", knock yourself out. i for one hope y'all enjoy your big, beautiful wall on mexico's nickel

So you are asserting that a chain link fence is the same deterrent as the border wall?

Chain link, bollards or concrete. It just does not matter, if it is only a few miles long. Just as easy to walk AROUND any of them. No need to waste effort scaling.

To put this in perspective, if it was continuous it would stretch from the I 10/12 split to I-55 in Hammond.

A long was to go, but not chump change.
