2020 LA Primary Results -Trump 96% GOP | Biden 80% Dem | Monroe's Historic New Mayor

Mayor of the City of Monroe - 100% Precincts Reporting (41.0% turnout)
Friday Ellis (I) - 6,835 (52%)
Jamie Mayo (D - incumbent) - 4,987 (38%)
L. Marie Brown (D) - 759 (6%)
Fredrick Louis (D) - 484 (4%)
Ronnie Scott (I) - 52 (<1%)
3.73 Mill Renewal for East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff - 100% Precincts Reporting (23.2% turnout)
Yes - 35,360 (53%)
No - 31,940 (47%)
Democratic Presidential Primary - 266,941 total votes cast (21.2% turnout)
Joe Biden - 212,267 (80%)
Bernie Sanders - 19,834 (7%)
All Other Candidates Finished Below 5% of the Vote
Republican Presidential Primary - 204,175 total votes cast (21.7% turnout)
Donald Trump - 195,795 (96%)
All Other Candidates Finished Below 5% of the Vote
(yes I know there wasn't any incentive for most people to vote in the presidential primaries and Trump will win this state by double digits in percentage points in November... just something to talk about since we had the vote this weekend)

and that’s with just Democrats voting
the Bern is already at 2,700+ votes
and none of those votes are guaranteed to go to Biden in November
