Weather != climate. (It's what you'd say if it was the coldest on record)

Would you like to talk about science, or what you like to talk about what I might say or not say under a given hypothetical circumstance?

recorded history

How long is this period of "recorded history" (i.e., temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, etc.)?

If you say more that 154 years, you are a goddamned liar.

LINK

Now...how long has the Earth been around? Last estimate, 4.54 billion years.

I can't fit enough zeros on this page to show how infinitesimal this period is relative to the geologic, and paleoclimatic, history of this planet.

So, feel free to frick off.

supercharging the Earth’s temperature, which could help make 2014 the warmest year since human records have been kept, and probably for much longer.

i don't think i've ever seen such a scientific based statement in my life

The volcanoes. Really?

I can tell you've done your homework.

and one month in 100+ years means what in a 4.5 billion year planet life?

Oh somewhere around .018% of the planet's life it got warm. That is if you don't mind using poorly QC'd data.

In April, monthly concentrations of carbon dioxide reached 400 parts per million for the first time in at least 800,000 years. On our current path of minimal attention, scientists say warming could exceed 4.5 degrees Celsius by 2100—which would have devastating effects.

CO2 concentrations trail temperature increases.

I have no idea what the point is you're trying to make. You're babbling and cursing and angry, I get that. Now calm down and explain yourself.

If you are a scientist, as you claim, then you are a perfect example of why we should be skeptical of the agenda of much of the left's claim that "science is settled". You clearly see everything in this world through a prism of absolute allegiance to your "side". There is nothing you produce thy isn't altered by your bias. Why would one assume your scientific research wouldn't be affected by the same bias? Presented with results to the contrary Of your bias, I can only assume you immediately dismiss or ignore it...like you do on here Thank you for being a shining example of the type of "honesty" we can expect from the true believers of our science community.

Of course, I am hopeful you are an outlier and not all in the science community are as blinded by ideology as you...but you certainly provide a good warning. B

The analogy is that 150 years to the age of the Earth, is about 3 seconds out of a century.

I have a solution for all this co2, lets nuke china. Kill them all and we will be good for another hundred years...

exactly. a true scientist would show no allegiance to a certain "side" or viewpoint

There's nothing the US can do about it. Our emissions are a drop in the bucket worldwide. China is the real problem if co2 is the problem. Until they do anything, co2 levels will continue to rise

Natural climate cycles have changed from their warming phase to cooling phase, and this means that contrary to popular belief the global temperature has been declining for more than 10 years, and will continue to decline for another 20 or so.

This evidence was presented last week at the seventh International Climate Change Conference sponsored by the Heartland Institute. Several prominent natural scientists provided serious and credible evidence in calm, dispassionate presentations, based on reams of factual data.

In sharp contrast to the manner of these presentations, climate alarmists have been unable to provide sufficient data to defend their claims that humans are causing catastrophic global warming.

A look at the temperature record throughout the 20th century shows that the up and down pattern does not follow the rise of the industrial revolution and the resulting increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide, but instead follows the pattern of naturally caused climate cycles.

I've never claimed that any science is settle.

I don't. That's one of the issues peer review is designed to address.

I'm confused. Are you talking to me, personally? Because you seem to be making up my thoughts for me, without even asking.

Is there any chance you can continue this conversation with the imaginary TUba in your head ... offline?

Stop being obtuse, the point is we have a very, very, VERY miniscule amount of data, yet you and the people you follow feel that it is enough to take drastic measures.
