A 100-year-old World War II veteran received an unexpected surprise during a Trump rally in Phoenix today as fans brought the man to the front of the stage.

The heartwarming video shared on Twitter shows two men - one wearing a Trump hat - carrying the elderly man, Irvin Julian, down a flight of stairs and across Arizona Veterans Memorial Coliseum as crowds cheered and chanted 'USA! USA!'.

The kind act put the Julian at the front of the action before the rally started.

At the start of Trump's speech Julian received a signed campaign hat and praise from the president himself, who later retweeted the video.

See? THIS is the America I LOVE!

Not the sky screaming. Not the partisan politicking. Not the grandstanding and gerrymandering. Not the false flags and race baiting. Not the internal failures and corruption that has seeped into, and embedded itself, within our republic.

THIS kind of act, is what makes America, America.

The irony, we have one of the last living people who fought against Hitler's Axis Powers, here being honored by and celebrating LITERAL HITLER. ONOZ!!

Edit: I think I'm going to hit social media and ask people how I can look my kids in the eyes and talk to them about this. Lol. Sorry to hijack and awesome moment. Blame it on the zeitgeist.

Entered to a standing ovation and personal recognition from the POTUS.

At a dem rally he would’ve been pepper sprayed
