I’m certainly not a liberal, and I don’t believe that Guatemala caught 100 ISIS members either. I don’t believe they caught one, actually.

So you aren't the least bit skeptical that the President of corrupt-as-frick Guatemala had ulterior motives when he dropped ISIS into the conversation while Pompeo was visiting? We're talking about a nation that receives TONS of aid from the US and would have an incentive to make the situation seem as alarming as possible.
You aren't thinking this through and considering other possibilities. Do you really 100% believe that the Guatemalan government captured 100 members of ISIS? Why the scant details?
Have you considered why Trump isn't saying anything? Hint: it's probably because he knows it's likely bullshite
Besides, Trump has already eradicated ISIS, the geniuses on this board have convinced of that much.

In the past several decades, we've sent billions in aid. Adding ISIS into the mix of problems there adds another element and provides more leverage for getting US aid. Especially at a time when Trump has threatened to take it away.

It was first reported at the Conference on Prosperity and Security in Central America almost a week ago. Guatemala already deported the 100 individuals back to their country of origin.

well, my assumptions are based on the fact that it would be virtually impossible to find 100 ISIS terrorists in a large group of people in that country. I highly doubt they've processed people that well.

What I find amusing is some will believe EVERYTHING Turkey media, through unnamed sources, is reporting.
Yet a president of a sovereign nation states a fact and its bullshite.
