Honey Island Range closed due to high water

As of 7:00a.m. today 3/13/2015 the Range Master has closed the range due to high water...
The bridge leading into the range is under water...will update when things are back to normal.

Last time I was there, the water wasn't anywhere near close to the bottom of the bridge. Probably 5ft below IIRC

Plenty of water on the PRWMA...
Oil well road...(you would turn right instead of left to go to the range off the main road) will probably be closing next...I was out there this morning crawfishing and we forded 3' of water at one point on the road... and several other spots varied between 1 and 2' easily...LDWF will probably close the gate just past the nature trail on oil well road soon if the water level continues to climb
