It's time for another OT history trivia thread

It's been a while since we had one of these. The premise is simple. Post a historic picture and folks take their best guess as to what it is. There is only one rule, You've got to make your own guess, no internet searching.

bingo. The USS Nautilus was the world's first operational nuclear powered sub and it was also the first to cross under the North Pole.
